Comprehensively restored in 2015, featured on the cover of Volksworld magazine and converted to electric carried out by the Electric Classic Cars. This must be the coolest, most useable classic we've ever seen! During the restoration a pre '68 front clip, bonnet, wings and decklid were fitted to 'back date' the car. Further touches include US spec 'towel rail' bumpers, original 60's swan neck mirrors and a refurbished original 60's roof rack. The interior is mainly original bar the addition of a classic looking DAB radio, and is in lovely condition with classic black basket weave seats, Bambus parcel shelf, EMPI trigger shifter, grey carpets and Red Wolfsburg horn push. It has a lowered, narrow front beam and fitted with a front disc conversion.
