Our example has full matching numbers with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate showing chassis number 1E 20609, engine number 7E3776-9 and body number 4E 21583. It has undergone a complete “nut-and-bolt” restoration, all detailed in many photographs. Restoration works were carried out by noted Jaguar E-Type specialists, The Hutson Motor Company Ltd. The entire restoration took over twelve months and the finished vehicle is a wonderful example blending classic E-Type style with modern upgrades. The body was stripped and repaired with new floors and outer sills. It had a new Jaguar Heritage bonnet assembly and engine frames. The body is finished in dark blue; chrome fixtures are all A1 and the underside is to the same high standard.
